Photography is such a unique art form where every photographer captures and edits their photographs in their own particular style.
Based in Sheffield, Alexandria is a wedding and portrait photographer specialising in capturing emotion.
Using artists such as Rossetti, Waterhouse and Delacroix as inspiration throughout her work, Alexandria creates timeless photographs with a nod towards the Romanticism art movement of the 1800s paired with an editorial style editing to her photographs similar to what you’d find in the pages of Vogue in the 80s/90s.
From studying film photography and learning the fundamentals of lighting and composition, Alexandria has grown a unique and diverse portfolio all centred around capturing couples on their wedding day naturally and authentically.
By documenting wedding days in this style, Alexandria is able to give couples finished galleries that are more reminiscent of stills from movies than forced/posed images.
However, all this aside, Alexandria is a typical Yorkshire lass who is happy when she has a brew in hand and a barrel of biscuits sandwiched next to her.

based on the outskirts of Sheffield, on the border between Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
A Big Welcome
I’m Alex and I live on the outskirts of Sheffield, on the border between Yorkshire & Derbyshire, with my partner, Matt, our beautiful little girl, Cecilia and our loveable Golden Retriever puppy, Bertie.
I’m a full-time photographer, art crazy, animal lover, musical theatre enthusiast, amateur cook, literature admirer, music worshipper, countryside fan, antiquing/home interior nut and Outlander (the T.V show) obsessed who also enjoys lazy mornings whilst drinking tea.
As you will know by now my photography is a mixture of authentic-documentary style with a romantic nod (without the cheese) and all tied together with an editorial flair.
I give my clients the freedom to be themselves, there’s no awkward posing or silly prompts – so they can enjoy the full experience of our time together resulting in timeless photography.
